Cuppa Cha HQ officially opened its doors to the public this week. Our flagship store, located at 768 Burke Road Camberwell, has been the product of blood, love, sweet and tears (as all good projects are). And whist we are still tinkering with the inside styling, it is great to be able to share such a beautiful space with other lovers of tea. Already we have heard so many engaging stories from people who have lived in China, people who share our genuine love of Taiwanese Oolongs, as well as our classic English and Irish breakfast drinkers. Those familiar with our old stand at Prahran Markets will notice some familiar treats in our new Tea Shop. We have teamed up with the scrumptious Moonbeam Kitchen, the delicious Porridge Bar, as well as mouth-watering EDS Bread and added my very own tried and tested heart-warming home cooked recipes to complement our extensive tea menu.
We look forward to seeing you all really soon and would love to hear what you think of our flagship Tea Shop. Please note we will be closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day, but trading as normal all other days in December. (My family thought we needed a couple of days off to recharge the batteries.)
Merry Christmas! And here’s to a magnificent new chapter in 2015 – Tania
PS. We would love to find out who our blog readers are. So please let us know when you come to visit us between Christmas and New Year’s Eve 2014 and we will add a cookie treat to your tea order as our little Christmas present to you.
